Rachael Lipson, President

Rachael is a recognized communications leader providing strategic counsel and creative thinking with deep expertise in the healthcare sector. Rachael’s 20 years of experience was built from her time at large agencies including Edelman and MS&L, where she managed national campaigns for leading clients including AstraZeneca, Sanofi, and Roche. She has successfully led both product and corporate communications programs targeting employees, consumers, and healthcare professionals. Her healthcare expertise spans a wide range of areas including infection prevention, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, mental health, women’s health, fertility, oncology, gastroenterology, virology, and rare disease. 


Over the last decade, Rachael has successfully built and managed her own consultancy with clients in the healthcare, technology, and consumer products industries where she and her team of specialists thrive on learning, problem solving, and communicating complex information. With a strong focus on collaboration, Rachael partners with her clients to develop internal and external programs that influence stakeholders through a variety of PR and integrated communications tactics. She holds a B.S. from Southern Connecticut State University’s School of Journalism. 


Nancy Morrissey, Senior Writer

Nancy is a creative and skilled writer with more than 20 years of experience in marketing, copywriting, and content development in the areas of healthcare, media, finance, and technology. Her experience includes creating compelling and effective marketing communication materials, press releases, thought-leadership articles, newsletters, scripts, social media posts, and presentations. She has worked as a key marketing director for several major media companies, including U.S. News & World Report, Newsweek, The Atlantic and Everyday Health with responsibilities in developing strategy and branding initiatives, launching new franchises and websites, and creating winning, customized solutions and programs for clients. She has also completed a variety freelance writing projects, including website content, corporate communication materials, company newsletters, presentations, and speeches for leading healthcare, financial and media organizations. Nancy holds an MBA from St. John’s University and a BBA from the University of Massachusetts. 


Robin Traum, Media Specialist

With an extensive background in public relations and journalism, Robin is highly skilled at translating complex scientific and technical information into targeted media results that reach clients’ key stakeholders. As a media relations expert, she is adept at building strong working relationships with reporters, identifying key emerging issues and trends, and positioning companies and executives as innovators and thought leaders in their fields. Robin plays an instrumental role in developing and executing solid media strategies, and consistently places stories in national, local, consumer, and trade media outlets. Robin received an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University. 


Marla Giummarra, Communications Specialist  

Marla brings over a decade of experience launching and promoting both corporate and consumer product brands through a mix of traditional and digital public relations including traditional media, social and influencer relations. Marla is a detail-oriented and creative-thinking communications generalist with a can-do attitude. She plays a central role in all client projects including media monitoring, social media planning and execution, and traditional media relations. Marla holds a B.S. from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and Whitman School of Retail Management. 


George Awad, Art Director

George has over 20 years of experience in graphic design and marketing communications for a range of corporate, agency and nonprofit clients. Whether print or digital, George's role is to create visual solutions that can help deliver a client's message to all relevant audiences and channels. George holds a BFA in Communication Design from The State University of New York at Buffalo.
